The May meeting will be a whole day event at either Braunig or Calaveras Lake. The date, as always the second Saturday of the month, is May 10. We will post the definite place as soon as we have a decision. Again, it will be a whole day event!!!

Depending on how many are going, you can reserve two spots, side by side at either of the lakes for the weekend. Or just for a day, they would be the covered table areas with the hibachis....you just have to make a decision soon, they may be filling up as we speak! Braunig or Calaveras are both okay....the sooner the reservations are made, the better. They will both fill up very quickly for that weekend, as always ! Let me know and I promise to be at either place, and will bring some people...and add to a "pot-luck" type of food arrangement ! I do make good beans, if I say so myself!

Carol, james will be there on Friday, and I may as well. So, get there whenever you feel comfortable. But I would say no later then noon on Saturday, that's when I think we should have our "official meeting", so to speak. I think food that can be grilled, or is already prepared, is the best option. Sausages, burgers, etc., as well as chips and dips are the best options. I bring up to six rods myself. As far as I knw, the limit is not being enforced at Calaveras, Braunig, though, are a bit more on ones case with that. Extra chairs is always a good idea. Also, bring some yard games, if possible. Horse shoes, frisbee, batmitton, etc. See y'all there, maybe on Friday already!

I'll bring some dishes as well. I'll probably bring my son if that's okay.

Roddie, you can bring as many people as you like. All are welcome.

I might get there some time in the afternoon on friday. Have to see how I get things done here, working on honey-do and school projects at the same time. Just as long as I have some company during the night. LOL It just gets too boring after a while when all alone. ha ha
