I am new to the group and spend 99% of my time fishing in saltwater. I am located in Mc Allen and fish South Padre Island/Port Isabel from my kayak at least once a month.

Howdy and welcome to our chapter forum. We are looking into having a meeting, as well as the annual meet, down at the coast. It's going to be the first time for some of us.

Make yourslef at home here and enjoy the membership. Find new friends, fishing buddies, and a lot of great advise, when needed. Or just share your stories and wisdom.

I hope to be able to welcome you, and your family, some time at one of our meetings or events. Looking forward seeing more from you on the forum.

Being I live in the RGV it will be tough for me to make any meetings but I will chime in about things on the board if I feel I have anything relevant to add to a discussion or just to add my opinion.

I look forward to learning more about everyone on the board and perhaps wet a line with some if not all of you guys.

Lance, I know that we will make our way down towards you stomping ground, just hang in there for a little while. A membership trip to the coast is coming, which will include the chapter meeting. Just keep your eyes peeled for any info on upcoming meetings and such.

That's so very true !!!! It's nice to know that there ore other people out there that like/love to fish, and want to learn more ! I recently joined the NAFC, and it's great to know there are some members here, in San Antonio ! I'd like to meet you guys and get to know the group ! I am from the East Coast originally, but have been back in S.A. since 92...good temps and good people ! Can you guys deal with a female member??? We have been trying for some time to get more members from the area together. That's one of the reasons I started the anual meet some years back, and more recently the Chapter.

You will see that we are all down to earth, with some rough edges. The chapter is not biased towards anybody. The more the better. You will receive a copy of our bi-laws, which includes an anti bias passage. You will be with a diverse group.

they can't be too biased they let me come to the meets. and Kai we promised we wouldn't discuss your edges anymore and you know i'm too rotund to have any edges
