tuffish: Over @ Braunig Lk. you can harvest a Bunch a Reds*, daily, 'round 3-5pm any where along the shore-line* I've been told by alot of folks that go there often that's when they go lookin' for sumpin' ta eat*, that 4-Spotted Red's nothin' compared to some of the Monsters I've seen folks with @ cleanin'-stations...HUGE*.(freshwater Reds have "NO-Max." size limit). At times you'll get 'em using live bait, Talapia, Minnows, & Shad & also they love them Spoons*,(Gold/Silver). I've got 1 called a "Tony Aceta" spoon, sometimes just that spoon, yet when I use to troll, I'd set-up that 1 w/a Deeep-Diver-30' & use to get quite a few, out by Dead-Tree-Point, or over by the Jettie, from the boat-ramp go to the right side of the Jettie, anchor & fish. That use to be a crowded spot...also by the spill-out from the plant just away from the bouy's, you'll see them critters comin' up feeding on stuff on the surface, I think intexas2: mentioned that spot on a post, here, or on NAFC-Texas-Thread*...@ Calavers Lk. sometimes them Reds be between the Crappie-Wall & Dam, also 'round coves, past the Crappie-Wall, south of the large coal-pile*,hope this info. helpful*, "Take Care", L8r. thanks alot.  i was trying to go in the morning, but i don't think the weather is gonna be right.   it is calm here right now, but supposed to be bad in the morning.  i made weights all afternoon.  i don't know if you have seen the lindy weights.  they were designed for walleye fishing, but seem to work well for drifting for big bluecats.  they very rarely get hung up.  they are also very expensive so we bought some supplies and made some that are close to the lindy's.
