I want to target Crappie, among other fish, at the Inks Lake meet in two weeks. What are some good strategies for them if not fishing from a boat? What are some good baits?

Crappies love small minnows. Lip hooked on a small yellow or white feather lead head jig works great also.

As it turned out, we all got skunked at Inks Lake. Bummer.
But I will try again at some other lakes. I don't think that some of Frank's ideas are legal, but very effective. LOL
