5th ANNUAL TEXAS MEET 2009

From here on out the annual meet will be 4 days long.

The annual Texas meet for 2009 will be, one more time, at Inks Lake State Park. It is located between Burnet and Marble Falls, in the heart of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Reservations for Cabins, Tent Sites, as well as RV sites can be made at http://www.reserveamerica.com

The dates are as follows:
Thursday March 19, 2009 - Sunday March 22, 2009

At the same time we are asking for fellow members to give us ideas for new locations, beginning with the 2010 meet. Please place those, with a possible web-link to that site, on the chapter forum. Keep in mind that the location should be able to accommodate members with disabilities. In addition, not all members have an RV/Camper, or can not sleep in a tent. Hotels / Motels should be in close driving distance as well.

Thank you all for your ideas and I hope to see you at the next meet.

Easter 2009 is Sunday, April 12.

That, if I do my math right, is 3 weeks after our meet!!!!!

  THERES NO FISH THERE TWICE THERE AND NO ONE EVEN GOT A BITE  I've heard they drain it ever yr. before spring break  i heard it from someone that has a house at lake buccanon

They do not drain the lake, some one is pulling your leg, Jesse. But yes, there is fish in that lake. We just don't catch them. That's why they call it fishing and not catching. LOL

Frown  NOT ME YET I"AM ONLY ONE CABIN FITS 4/ PLUS I DONT HAVE THE # YET  HEY TERRY YOUR BACK SEPT MEET CANCELLED ONLY 2 PEOPLE YOU AND ME. AND I"AM ONLY COMING FOR FRI/SAT/SUNDAY/THEY WILL NOT GIVE THUR/OFF FOR THAT ONLY FRI. AND BEING I GET OFF AT 10:30 P.M  I"LL BE ON MY WAY THERE FRI/ AT 7:00AM HAVE COFFE READY.

  HEY RODDIE I ALREADY PUT IN FOR A PERSONNAL DAY OFF FOR MARCH 20-09 AT WORK I DID THAT BACK IN JULY. IT"LL BE EASYER TO CANCEL LATER THAN TRYING TO GET A SPOT CLOSER TO MARCH EVER BODY BOOKS MONTHS IN ADVANCE BEING ITS SPRING BREAK.

Jesse, the meeting will not be called off as of yet. You are jumping ahead of yourself. As of right now, the meeting is on, due to that at least three people are going to be there: Jesse, Terry, and Gerard. I hope to make it myself. So: THE MEETING IS STILL ON!!!!! BTW: these posts are in the wrong category!!!!!!!

i cant say for sure that i'll be at inks but will try to work my hometime for that weekend. i sure am looking forward to seeing ya'll again. Kai,rhon finally found the pics of us in the boat but she didn't close up on us (thank goodnes) will try to send them to terry next hometime(i tried photo bucket on them but really messed up somehow)
