Topic: Fishing Tournament/Derby........Membership Drive

We will discuss this at the next meeting, the planning of a fishing tournament/derby which, at the same time will function as a membership drive. Details will be discussed during the next 2 meetings, but the overall goal is to get this on the road (or better yet, water) before the year is over. This should be something every member needs to get involved in. All it needs is a little effort from all of us to get this done as soon as possible. The lakes we are looking at are either Calaveras or Braunig, due to their proximity and ease of access.

More to come soon. Hope to get y'all involved in the organization, planning, and execution of this chapter event!

With this, as well as keeping the meeting constantly at one location, we raise awareness of our chapter. More to come at a later time, as well as during the meetings.

My best friend did that for me after my surgery Jesse, and I milked it good. Even had him shucking oysters for me too!!!

One change has been decided on in terms of the tournament/derby. We will give ourselves until Spring of '09 to get the organizational part done. A lot has to be taken care of and there are not enough of us to get it done sooner. We will post the dates, location, payouts, rules, etc. as soon as we have all that worked out and squared away. Keep checking in frequently for updates.
