We do have Bass here, yet they are a challange, at times, to find and catch. Just as Jesse said, Choke Canyon and Lake Amistad are the best places for them in this State.

My fishin' bud & I went to Ramp99 @ Choke back in June, I messed up the trip* My Insln.-Pmp. came off @ infsn.site & then the temps.were in the 100+*....That was the 1st time to that part of Choke, hopefully we'll go back, specially if Canyon Lk. ever gets some good water lvl.??? dont feel bad james it happens my wife and me were going to vegas for vac. but knee went out had surgery.theres always next times it"ll still be there.

Que-Vo Carnal, Ese Flaco, not sure if you heard? Earlier this year "ALL' boat ramps @ Lake Travis were "CLOSED" due to very low water levels* The rains we've/Austin area had gotten recently had the spill-way over flowing, & the Dam was Opened*, Canyon Lk.'s water went up a bit over a foot*, Vegas*...7/11...."Take Care", L8r.
