SEPTEMBER MEETING CANCELED!!!!!!!!

Hey Guys, I'm sorry that I can't be at the cancelled meeting this weekend. I'm not really sorry, cause I'll be fishing at a Big Brothers camping trip up at Camp Lakey. I'm still waiting for Mr Wise to tell me when he's goig up there, if the trip is still going to happen, or if he has decided to spend that time alone with Terrie. I hope that is the case. Gotta run for now.I hope everyone has a great time next weekend, Tight lines.

The way I'm hearing it, is we'll get a fair amount of rain along with 40-50 mile an hour winds......We're still on the dry side of this one, like Gustav. But we should see some rain, I hope. We need it sooooo badly! I'm binging in the trash cans and the chairs from outside along with the light plants....just in case !

it's good to hear from you. Hope all is well and we will see more of you on here and at the meetings.

It seems that we are dodging a bullet this time. Yet, the winds are still going to be strong and we have to expect some rain. It would make a miserable day of fishing, if any fishing could be done at all. Let us hope that the weather will be favorable at the next meeting.

After all, we could have had the meeting. But better safe then sorry and cancel, even if nothing ever happens.

Regardless, we will have our meeting next month as planed. Keep checking in here for updates and news.

I am kinda pissed off at the damn sensationalistic approach of the weatherpeople here in texas and nationally. They have caused more people to cancel outings and get togethers by their sensationalistic crap, trying to improve the ratings. I for one don't believe a word they say on the weather, I'll find out what the weather is when I get there. get an almanac if you really want to know what the weather is going to do. OK I'm ll done b*t*hing about that. I gotta run for now, Tight lines to all.

Hey Lee, see how I edited the post?? Remember, we are a FAMILY place, therefore the language should be according. But I understand your pain. I too am upset with the weather guys for misleading us with the forecast last week.
