We do need to keep some alternatives open in case we do not get the site at Braunig or Calaveras. Keep in mind, though, the summer is here (I know, officially it is Spring LOL) and the days are hot. Perhaps we can arrange something where we have the option to fish at night. Just food for thought.

One thing is for certain, and I have mentioned that many times before, decisions have to be made in a timely manner, and members need to live up to the commitment they have made (i.e. getting prices for items etc.).  And more fishing and less crticism and discussions.

Also, membership dues should be collected from here on out, every time we meet. That way we get some funds back and can afford to get a banner or flag, or even both.

Any updates?  If we're having trouble, Carol has offered to help, if her offer still stands.  Let's do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Look guys, I am not one to throw stones but.....yes, my participation has been limited, but.....  at this time I am officially withdrawing my membership permanently.  At this point in time, I have no reason to belive anything is going to improve, due to the lack of responses and the definite lack of reserving sites for the meets and fishing...good luck and I wish you all well..............................................

  Sorry Roddie, I do no know how to do a PM.....I joined the club about a year ago, and due to personal/family difficulties, I had to back off.  Since then, the group, who are bunch of good guys, really haven't progressed that much.  Like I said, I am not casting stones, because of what has transpired with the family thing.....you can reach me at intexastoo@aol.com

no problem at all....I remember when you had to break off for a bit and was really happy to see you come back.  It's just disappointing and frustrating to see the club flounder like this.  I enjoy being and grouping with people that like to fish too, and it saddens me to think that I may have to look elsewhere unless drastic measures are taken very soon.  It's not an issue of disloyalty but being active in a club with those who share the same interests.  I am just thoroughly disappointed at the moment and don't want my emotions to make me say things that I shouldn't, but I really dont know what to do anymore.

Look guys,,, I am sooooo sorry. I didn't know that it was strictly up to me to make reservations. In the past I made them when I was told that they were not made. I am sorry. From now on I will make sure that it will be taken care of. It's just that I can not always afford it. Others have said they would make reservations and failed to do so. Just give me time to make sure the funds are there and we will be back to meeting in the same place every month...................
