   Basically you can either go over to the lake, or call to reserve a spot.  It takes $20 to reserve it for fri-sun. Cash or credit card....  Pretty cheap by me, and there is usually enough room for a few tents.....it looks like it may be the weekend of the 9th for October, if my calculations are right.....

FYI: I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH GUY @ CALAVERAS LK. HE STATED PP7/8 ALREADY TAKEN BY SOMEONE, LAST NAME SWALTZENBURG;<-(spelling?) SINCE I'VE NOT BEEN AROUND FOR OVER A YR. i have not called yet as i don't know for sure when the meeting is.  i should be close by on the 10th of october.  is there a schedule somewhere?

I would highly recommend that we start doing a couple of things.

1.  I know Jesse hasn't been totally well, but other than you, Terry, there are no other officer positions.  I understand that you don't have eight arms and two bodies but I think your load would be a lot lighter by either nominating or asking for volunteers for positions.  I think there are a few people on here that have a lot to contribute to the club!!!

2.  I also think the above would help with club meetings, whether it's assigning a rotation as Carol had suggested, or having someone responsible for monitoring and/or reserving spots for club meetings.

PP5/6 have already been taken, this guy didn't give me the name of whom?, He stated all they've got as of "NOW" are PP-1/2/3*, I've heard PP1/2 Not-Good*? Since we are on the short end of site selection, what does everyone think about pushing this meeting out one week and try to get maximum participation?  I really want to see this club move along and pick up speed.

I attempted to contact Calaveras Lk. a while ago, contact-# I've got is to S.A.R.A.(San Antonio River Authority). Their hours of operation are Mon.-Fri. 8am-5pm. *This related to my post before this1*, I'll call again Monday AM. Not sure if Calaveras Lk. still does this, e.g. *Calling & making Reservation for pay-site, person had 7-days to show up & pay, or loose site wanted/reservd.?   You are so right. I seem to be all that's left from the original staff. When we meet again, providing there are enough people and if it is alright with who is present, maybe we can discuss the problem. Since we meet to fish and enjoy, I think that it only fair to ask permission before we have a meeting. Looing forward to our next outing.

James.  I may be wrong, but I think he's just saying that we'll discuss it during the next meeting as long as everyone present is ok with it.  We've made a point lately to do more FISHING than talking!!
