   Terry, not to be a smartass, but I've been trying to find that out for a few days now....I will make the reservation in the morning if no one else has done so...  I need to know so I can make the reservation....I don't mind doing it, but a little forethought is appreciated.

   And fishing and good company....what else is there?

No doubt!!!   

   The only spots available for this and next weekend are 1,2 and 3....I reserved 3 for next weekend...sorry for the poor location.  If we went without reserving one, I'd almost gaurantee there would be absolutely nothing....

   Not a problem, it may not have made a difference site wise if I had tried to reserve it earlier....  If the November date is solid, I may try for the  #8 spot before the end of the month to make sure we have it....I'm looking forward to the meeting, out of the house, fishing, etc.......hopefully the weather will be stable enough for us.

i am gonna try to make it over for the meeting.  i have to leave on that saturday a  little after noon.  do any of yall get there on friday?  i am sitting here without a truck right now.  it is in the shop and will not be ready until next week sometime.  maybe we can start reserving a site way ahead of time starting in january and i will be around most of the spring and we can collect a pot for reservations.  that way we can pass around the cost, but select one person that is close to the park to pay for the spot out of the pot.  i need to go over by braunig and look at an rv park they have over there.  it looks nice on the web and i could start staying over there a few days before each meet. 

I won't get back into town until Friday afternoon but if you need help with anything that afternoon let me know.  That's a great idea for managing the reservations tuff.  Whaddaya say Terry?

   Okay guys...some of you had the beans the last time I was able to be at the meet...were they spicy enough, not enough?  I can make them milder or a bit hotter...your choice.  If you want spicier, how much more?  If I make them spicy for me, they may be toooooo spicy for some...let me know so I can "tailor" them for the group!  This may also be my last meeting with everyone, for a month or two, due to an upcoming surgery on the 21st.   Nerve release at the elbow.......

   By the way, I am bringing my waders and at least 3 rods with me...2 freshwater, and 1 surf rod to wade out with....bringing some weiners and maybe some shrimp, from HEB, not the stuff from the store at the lake.  I do have a cast net, if anyone would like to try for some "live" bait...let me know, I will bring it. 

Sounds like you're meaning business there Carol.  I have a 5 ft cast net that I plan to bring but I still need A LOT of practice.  Personally, it wouldnt hurt me if the beans were a little spicier but thats just me.  We're gonna have to make sure you get some good catches before your surgery.  I'll bring the car battery and wires!!  (jus kiddin)

  Sounds like a deal!  I will bring the castnet also, and the live bait container...  I need some practice with the castnet too!.I think I'll keep the beans about the same heat as before, maybe a bit spicier.    Looks like the weather is going to be pretty nice, about 80 and sunny!  

   Okay guys, it is now a little after 10 pm the night before the meeting...who is going?  I see communication is not at the forefront....................................  It only takes a second to say who's going to be there, and who cannot make it.....
