November Meeting

I absolutely agree Carol.  I would honestly consider doing it, but with my schedule, I'm afraid that I might not be available to take care of it when necessary... any ideas or other volunteers?  I don't mind forking over a lil money each meeting for "just in case" cash.

i will be there this time my gallblader and knee surgerys are better i miss everyone i will also reinburst anyone that pays for that date.  i have not been fishing since april.

  A very welcome back, Jesse !!  I am glad to hear the your surgeries went well.!  You have been missed.  By the way, please tell Frank thank you for me for telling me about the disabled veteran tax exemption...it went through and I really do owe him one for that!  Looking forward to seeing you at the meeting....

Jesse called Calaveras,then I did. Sites available for week-end of Nov.13th as of moments ago are 1,2,3,4,5. I asked lady if 1 could reserve site & have 7 days to show up & pay, or loose site. She said NO, have to pay when making resrv. plastic by phone, $$ in person. "Take Care", L8r. James,"VATO LOCO"<;({})><

    Guys, not to be rude, but... I'm starting to get a case of the a-- here.....this is getting a bit ridiculous.  No reservations, no communication, no planning..........not trying to be a "downer" but it is frustrating not to know what is going on.  I'll keep checking back.....................

  well i have myself have paid twice and terry at least four times  i dont have a credit card so i would have to drive down there but i think its only fair that we take turns paying and the one that pays let everyone else know its been done or we could all pitch in 5 dls. to the one that paid for site as soon as i get back on my feet financialy i"ll pay for 2 to 3 months ahead. i did"nt work for 10 wks. then went back on sept.25th and did"nt get a full paycheck till oct.30th

  Hey Jesse, this was not directed towards you at all...there's no communication or not enough communication going on....Nobody likes being left hanging and waiting.  The rotation of reserving a spot is a great idea, if we can get others to get involved in it....It's the not knowing that aggravates me.  I know that people are busy and they work for a living, but there has got to be better communication, or we're gonna sink.....................
   By the way, sorry to hear about the hernia, hopefully this is it for you for quite a while....are they going to schedule surgery anytime soon?  I am sure we can get together and torment you at home!  If your wife will put up with it!

its ok about hernia will wait a bit on that. i know it was not at me we tried it before taking turns paying but did"nt work cause the person did"nt let us know they forgot to pay for site.

Yeah I know what you mean Jesse...we had agreed last meeting and online I believe to try a rotation but I don't think a plan ever materialized.  I don't want to sound like I'm criticizing anyone but I have mentioned a few times I think we need our leadership chain structured.  Basically it's just you and Terry, and when you were out, it was just Terry.  I will be honest and say that it's frustrating when suggestions are made, agreed upon, but never executed.  I think we may have already lost a couple of good potential members because of this.  I don't want you or Terry to take this personal especially since we know that you've had things beyond your control, but we have been at a standstill since Kai stepped down.  The officer/member chain has not been reestablished since then and the few of us left have been looking to the club's officers to make certain decisions to keep this thing going....even something as simple as making a rotating reservation roster, or least delegating that task.  There are questions from members that go unanswered on this site for several days, to include hours before the next meeting.  This is getting frustrating as a member who wants to see this club not only survive, but flourish.

hi roddie well right now i dont have the money i was out cause of surgery from july15th till sept 25th and didnt get a full pay till oct 30th behind on all bills cause of this but if someone pays for site for nov. no matter which site i will gladly pitchin when i get there. sites 1/5 were avalible last ck, i will be there nov.14th sat.

Jesse, I'm sorry if I came across the wrong....I guess what I meant was just making sure that it got done or letting us know you need a volunteer, and as I said, I'm not pointing the finger at you one bit.  It's just been really frustrating with the same 2-3 people communicating and not being the ones who are able to make the decisions.  I had recommended a few times that Carol be an officer or given specific rights but nothing has happened.....

  I'll definitely be there!
