Gishing at S. Padre

   Well, unfortunately not much to report for Tuesday's outing to the coast....several dogfish, many piggy perch, a few yellow tails, croaker and sand trout,a couple of skates, all too small for keeping.  But, it was fun!  Great to be by the saltwater, it smells wonderfully salty, warm breezes....just a good day!

I think that's one of my favorite things...salty air!!!   Glad you at least enjoyed yourself.   Where'd you fish at?

i have not been out there in 4 yrs. want to go theres a spot in port a. mile marker ? live shrimp and whala. no weight let it float on top mys cous whole gos every 2 wks showed me this .  i can"t wait to see you all again and fish have not fished since march. here fishie fishie

  Went to the Red Dot Pier, along the Causeway on South Padre.  They have extended the pier to hold more people.  I haven't been to Port A. in quite a while....hopefully that will change next year when I have the Jeep on the road.  Really looking forward to a little more independence...
