The park that I live in is going to have a Community Yard Sale Oct. 25 from 8am to noon. Let me know what yo can donate and also who can stay and help. I need to know by the end of the week so I can have them get the permit and advertise.

We can start arriving at 10 am. I will be there sooner than that to prepare. By the looks of it, we will more than likely be spending more time outside than in. We seem to be having quite a turn out by the response. see you then.

I need to know exactly how many are coming to this meeting. The host would like to know how to handle the animals and when. Also, parents must stay with their children at all times. Rules of the house as well as our By-Laws.

The address out here is 255 s. Palo Alto Drive, Floresville, TX 78114. The way I come out is to find your way to 37 south, to hwy 181 (just past 281), take that about 14 miles to FM 775, take a left on 775 and go about 3 miles, take a right on Chaparral Dr. (eagle creek estates) go to the end of the road which is a ‘t’ intersection into S. Palo Alto dr. (your facing my property), take a left, and then pull into the first driveway on the right. There is an arch over the driveway, but what really gives the place away is 2 one ton duallys and 5 camaros. J

I'm sorry that I've been a little out of touch. The next meeting will be in La Vernia. I will post directions soon. All I can say is,,,,,bring a swim suit and your fishing gear. The bulk of the meeting will be inside, but, there is a pool and a pretty good size tank. I will also post pic's. I will really need to know who is going to show up. The host cannot afford to supply food, but has a grill we can use. Let's all get together on this and show this host what we are about. She and her husband may also join the club as well. Let me know what you can bring so we can set things up.

Welcome. Yes, you did read that right. We are trying to gain more members and all we care is that they like to fish, are want to improve and preserve our environment. Any questions you have will be answered as soon as we can get to you. Don't get mad if you don't get a reply right away.

No. We are still working on the other project. The one thing that is holding us up is contacts at Ft. Sam. The wheels work slowly in the military. I am still cutting through the tape, as it were.
But, we need a good fund raiser and membership drive and I think that this will be a good one to go with.

At the last meeting, Lee told me about a great idea. We could hold a fishing tournament. It would be a fund raiser as well as a membership drive. I really like this idea. I think it would give us a lot to talk about at the next meeting. As I said before, I know that sometimes things happen beyond our control, but I still think that we can make things happen. This chapter is still in its infancy, but is growing. Let's not stop now. Come to the meeting and bring a guest or two. I think it's time to get fired up and run.

Terrie came up with one,, and she even came up with a drawing. She called it,,,," Freedom Angels". What do you think???

I don't know what part of town you live in, but there are quite a few places that don't cost a thing where you can go fishing. There is a nice pond in Live Oak. I grew up in that neighborhood and have always had good luck. The water is stocked with catfish, bass, and trout.

I will do my best to help when needed.
